“ Have I not given Handel's a review after visiting them several times already??? Wow. Shame on me!! Baskin 31, you have your competition right here with Handel's 49 delicious, crazy flavors. I remember going to a Chamber of Commerce meeting in San Diego and meeting a representative who was looking to break into San Diego. I specifically mentioned opening up a shop in National City for its tax status location since there would be local competition already established and the cost is much lower than prime San Diego. I also mentioned that if Handel's opened another more North where people have plenty of disposable income, obviously, it would pay for itself. To my surprise, we drove by this area, and I hear 6-7 months ago, Handel's opened up shop in National City. If you want enjoyable flavors, and Real made ice cream, not fake stuff, here's an amazing place to go. It is very popular, even into the latter evening. Both young and more mature will enjoy. Perfect for the summer! Ice cream never tasted so good! Eat on a bench inside or tables outside! Here's a few pics. We've visited several times with the family. Definitely a continued go to place! ”
